Interviewer Calls Fifth Harmony 'Divas' In Twitter Rant, Lauren Responds

Sadly, Fifth Harmony was targeted in a rude way when an interviewer labeled the group's members as "divas."

If you didn't already know, that term is completely offensive and sexist to women. When girls/women are called this word, it generally implies that she is being "too strong" or "too assertive," which is looked at as being rude and disrespectful. Let's break down this story...

Dan Wootton was interviewing 5H's Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke, and Normani Kordei for his "Bizarre Life" podcast when he asked the women a question about previous Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello's departure. They responded: "Right now, we're really focused on each other. We're so excited in the now, and we have so much to look forward to." Unfortunately, Wootton didn't like this answer. So, he took to Twitter to call the group out for it. See his tweet below.

When Jauregui saw this tweet, she decided to respond back to him. See what she had to say to the interviewer below.

Seeing a woman like Jauregui stick up for herself and her friends angered Wootton even more because then, he went on a Twitter rant, further slamming 5H. See his tweets.

Unfortunately, Wootton's writeup of the interview was even worse. Nevertheless, shame on him for insulting 5H, a group who's all about female empowerment and spreading positively, like that. They're still our girls!
