Big Frank, H&H Towing and Mattress Firm, have teamed up to collect teddy bears and other plush animals for the Corpus Christi Police Department. Officers can carry them in their units and use them to provide instant comfort for young children involved in domestic violence situations, wrecks, traumatic experiences, or those that have been involved in other catastrophic situations. Law-enforcement is on the front lines every day to keep the community safe, and at times help remove children from situations that are unsafe. This can be a scary time for them, and having a brand-new teddy bear in the police unit can help provide a tremendous amount of comfort and security during an uncertain time. You can drop off a new teddy bear or other plush animal at any Corpus Christi-area Mattress Firm location. Or join us on "National Bring Your Teddy Bear to Work and School Day," Wednesday, October 11th from 10am - 2pm. We will be broadcasting live at Mattress Firm in Moore Plaza, 5425 SPID in Corpus Christi. Come by and drop off your new teddy bear or plush animal. We will be on site with law enforcement officers, local officials, and community partners.
