The Glens Falls Fire Department in New York responded to a call about a “confirmed structure fire,” but when they got there it turned out to be an elaborate Halloween decoration setup. From outside, the house looked like a fully-involved fire, with flames dancing in every window, but “To our surprise, this was an amazing Halloween decoration” according to the fire department’s Facebook post, which includes a video of the decoration in action.
How does it work? According to the post, it uses “two LED lights, a box fan, a silver sheet, and a fog machine” to create the effect. Commenters were positive about the decorations…including the firefighters.
