In appreciation of their service to our nation, USS Lexington Museum Executive Director, Steve Banta, has announced that veterans, active duty, and reserve members of the United States military service will receive free admission to the Museum on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Veterans Day, in Hangar Bay II, the USS Lexington Museum will host its annual “Salute to Veterans” ceremony. Congressman Michael Cloud will be the guest speaker for this event. The Veterans Band will be aboard to play patriotic music, and the Color Guard will be from the Texas Division Sea Cadets.
