WHAT: Tunes and Dunes – Beach Day for the Blind/Visually Impaired 

WHO: CC Downtown Lions Club for the Blind/ Visually Impaired and their families

WHY: Lions strive to make an impact in the community by being advocates for the blind. The event aims to bring the blind/visually impaired and their families together, and encourages attendees to make meaningful connections through accessible adaptive fun activities that promote creativity and team work. Attendees will also enjoy a warm meal, beverages, door prizes, and fun in the sun. 

WHEN: Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. 

WHERE: Beach Marker 216 (near seawall)

ENJOY: Fun Activities, Adaptive Games, Grilled Burgers, Beverages, Door Prizes, Fun in the Sun.

BRING: Sunblock, water, safety gear, chairs, towels, snacks. Bringing a tent or umbrella? Come early to set up.

PARKING: Beach Marker 216 is closest to the Windward Parking Lot, 14926 Windward Dr. Free parking is available here, or parking on the beach is also permitted in this area.
