Benefits to Having a 'Dry January'

I posted a while back about taking a break from booze, and the benefits are certainly noticeable. Consider laying off the booze in January, a movement that's being called "Dry January" and you'll see seriously good results.

More than half of people who abstain from alcohol in January reported losing weight, sleeping better, and having more energy. Not only that, but 88-percent saw their finances improve drastically.

Eight out of ten said they felt more in control of their drinking and that taking time off made them think about their relationship with alcohol.

Dry January sees millions of UK participants every year and, in the last few years, has become a thing in the U.S.
