Blake Shares Cover Of George Jones Tune

Blake Shelton has shared another addition to his “Friends and Heroes Sessions,” this time a cover of the 1989 George Jones single “The King Is Gone (So Are You).”

This is the second song Blake has shared as part of the series. His first was a cover of Bobby Bare’s “Tequila Sheila.” 

  • As we previously told you, Blake has named his new tour the “Friends and Heroes Tour,” featuring special guests Trace Adkins, Lauren Alaina, the Bellamy Brothers and John Anderson. It kicks off February 14th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Check out “The King Is Gone (So Are You)” to the right.
