Garth Brooks Launches ”Anthology”

Garth Brooks was back with a special edition of “Inside Studio G” this week, which launched his “Anthology Part III Live.” Most of this week’s episode actually took place on his website, not Facebook, so fans could instantly buy the book during the episode, with Garth signing books for random fans who order it.

Garth was on Facebook briefly where he talked about his CMA performance of “Stronger Than Me,” admitting it was “rough” performing the song for wife Trisha Yearwood, although he said in the end it was “a good night for us as a couple.”

He added that the reaction to the song has been great, noting that it’s been guys who have reached out to him mostly, with all of them saying the same thing, “finally someone has written something I couldn’t say myself.”

  • Meanwhile, earlier in the day Garth stopped by Good Morning America where he talked about why his live shows are so important to him. "As much as I shouldn't say this, there are three aspects to a career: songwriting, recording and live. And live by far is my favorite," Garth shares. "You get to be with the people that made the songs the songs and you get to listen to them sing.” Plus, he says fans make his concerts easier because they sing along, joking “Which means I don't have to do anything -- It's awesome. You start a song. They finish it. Start the next one, they finish it." Check out Garth’s interview to the right.
