Miranda Lambert & More To Reinterpret Elton John Hits on New CD

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, hello Elton John tribute album.

A group of country stars will come together for Restoration, a collection of the English legend’s most beloved hits reinterpreted by Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert and more.

Also lending their voices to the tribute album are Rosanne Cash, Emmylou Harris, Miley Cyrus, Vince Gill, Don Henley, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Rhonda Vincent, Dolly Parton and Lee Ann Womack.

The crop of talent will put their spins on Sir Elton’s “Rocket Man,” “Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters,” “Honky Cat,” “Sad Songs (Say So Much)” and many more.

In addition to Restoration, an additional album, entitled Revamp, will feature more of the “Piano Man” singer’s hits reimagined by the best in pop, rock and urban with Mary J. Blige, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, P!nk, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and more taking part.

“We have two completely different albums; Revamp being the pop one and Restoration being the country one and God we have so many great artists doing our songs,” Sir Elton says. “It’s quite incredible.”

The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour kicks off in the U.S. in September and will visit more than 300 cities across five continents over three years.

Restoration and Revamp are set for release on April 6.
