You know your dating life stinks when you have to rely on your refrigerator to find you, love. Just in time for Valentine's Day, Samsung is trying to help its customers find love right in their own kitchens.
Samsung just launched a new app for their smart refrigerators called "Refrigerdating." It's a Tinder-style app, but instead of swiping on pictures of potential dates, you swipe on pictures of what's in the fridge. It works with the Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator, which features a touchscreen on the door.
You upload a photo of what's in your fridge and swipe through photos like you're on Tinder, only you're looking at what's in someone's fridge. It's mainly a promotional gimmick to sell their new $4,000 refrigerators, that comes with a huge touchscreen on the door. But you don't need a special fridge to use the app.
The app will help pair couples who go together like peanut butter and jelly.
