If you want absolutely no frills when it comes to your run, you'll appreciate Nils Arend and Blue Benadum. They're the duo behind The Speed Project, an annual event that has runners making the trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on foot.
This year more than 150 athletes from around the world have signed up to make the trek. They'll race in teams and switch-off runners every six miles over the 340-mile stretch. Teams can take whatever route they want, split the running however they want, and have as many people come along as they want.
The Speed Project kicks off this weekend and there will be hourly updates on Instagram starting Friday morning and running through Sunday. Check out their Instagram here.
