Most people want to skip work on their birthday. Bill Hansen wanted back to his old job. What's more, the Cherry Hill, New Jersey man was celebrating the big 100.
Hansen had worked at Hutchinson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for 32 years before retiring at the age of 97. For his 100th birthday, he was welcomed back with a standing ovation and a cake. CEO Fred Hutchinson agreed to pay him $1 and organized a complete day of assignments.
Hansen says he hates retirement and was feeling "blessed" to be back on the job.
