It’s the time of year when high school seniors are all eagerly awaiting news from the colleges they applied to, hoping to get into their top picks. And the Wade quadruplets from Liberty Township, Ohio, recently got incredible news about their futures - they were all accepted to the Ivy League - at both Yale and Harvard!
All four brothers - Nigel, Zach, Nick and Aaron - are seniors at Lakota East High School and they’re in high demand. In addition to Yale and Harvard, they each got into a number of other impressive colleges. Now they’re just trying to decide where to go, and Nick Wade says financial aid will be a factor in that choice. Imagine sending four kids to college at once!
“The outcome has shocked us,” Aaron says. “We didn’t go into this thinking, ‘Oh, we’re going to apply to all these schools and get into all of them.’ It wasn’t so much about the prestige or so much about the name as it was — it was important that we each find a school where we think that we’ll thrive, and where we think that we’ll contribute.”
