I wanna welcome back First Class Petty Officer Edward Stommel and his wife Rebekah to the Corpus Christi area, fellow Bishop Badgers. They just transferred back from Portsmouth, VA where Eddie was stationed on the Coast Guard Cutter Bear, a 270 ft famous class cutter. Saw a lot of action while on Bear, including drug interactions, helping to confiscate millions of dollars of cocaine from South America and the Caribbean islands. Eddie graduated from Bishop High School back in 2005, I’ve known him and his wife for quite some time, and I’m happy that they’re back in the Coastal Bend.
