Salue: Billie Kuchinski

                Billie joined the Navy in August 1989 and attended Recruit Training in Orlando Florida, then served as an Aviation Machinist's Mate.  After serving 4 years in that position, she did a lateral conversion to the Yeoman rating and served in that capacity until retirement in 2009.  Her tours include NAR San Diego, HS-75 in Jacksonville, Florida, NMCRC in Atlanta, NOSC Meridian, Mississippi, and Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Her awards and decorations include (2) Navy Commendation Medals, (7) Navy Achievement Medals, (2) Meritorious Unit Commendations, (2) Battle "E", (6) Good Conduct Medals, (2) National Defense medals, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, (2) Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals, Navy Reserve Sea Service Medal, and Armed Forces Reserve Medal. 

                Billie now serves as the Education Services Officer (ESO) and Human Resource Assistant Military Supervisor (MILPERS) at the Personnel Support Detachment onboard NAS Corpus Christi.  In this capacity, she continues to serve her Sailors by helping them with educational decisions as well as pointing them in the right direction as they are processing out of the military.  She is serves and is very active in her church and is also a member of Women Veteran of the Coastal Bend.
