: The Junior League of Corpus Christi is proud to announce second annual Pitchin’ Clays Skeet Shoot & Washer Tournament fundraiser. Proceeds benefit at risk children of the Coastal Bend with our varying community projects. While championing the theme of “Hunting to make a difference”, JLCC community projects focus on nutrition, cognitive skills, physical activity and literacy. Pitchin’ Clays Skeet Shoot & Washer tournament will have events for the entire family to enjoy! The skeet shoot starts promptly at 8:00 AM, with a mandatory safety meeting shortly thereafter. Five-member teams will compete for trophies in Top Over-all Men’s and Ladies’ individual and team shooters, and Top Youth shooter. A washer tournament extravaganza that will enable you the ability to win “bragging rights” Top Washer Team. A spectacular bounce house that will launch your children into exciting heights, while offering their imagination to roam free with the magical ‘face painting station’. For the grown folks, we have “Bull’s Eye Brewskie Competition” that will knock your hops off, all participants who purchase an 8-ounce mason jar will be able to sample local brews from across the Corpus Christi area and the ability to cast their vote for the ‘People’s Choice’. It’s not too late to sign up for the event, we will have on-site registration. The day will wrap up with the closing of a fun silent auction, the awards ceremony and the raffle wrap up, that will include chances to win prizes: His-and-Hers Pistol Package, $1000 shopping spree at Jewels Clothing and Accessories, $500 Carnival Cruise line gift card, $500 gift basket from Hunt & Home – South Texas Mercantile and a customizable sterling silver “Sportsman Ring” from Casa de Oro Jewelers.
