One Ohio Judge was so fed up with the defendant’s constant blabbing in the courtroom that he reportedly demanded his mouth be taped shut mid-case.
The defendant, Franklyn Williams, was in court for his sentencing after being convicted of kidnapping, theft, and a slew of other charges, but refused to shut up while his lawyers were talking. Cuyahoga County Judge John Russo had enough of it, resulting in six deputies taping Wiliams’ mouth shut… but even that couldn’t stop him from yapping.
Williams had already given the court a hard time, previously trying to avoid the trial completely by cutting his house arrest ankle bracelet off and fleeing the state. So, karma hit him back with a sentence of 24 years in prison.
