A military veteran in Tennessee has adopted a new furry friend and the two have something special in common.Joshua Fergusonlost his leg after an IED explosion and he recently adopted a three-legged dog namedScooterfrom a Humane Society shelter.
Ferguson says his new pet makes everyone happy and that it’s impossible not to smile around Scooter, and then they notice he only has three legs. He’s not one to complain and doesn’t want anyone to pity the pair. “He makes it easier for me to remember, hey it’s still a beautiful day,” Ferguson says of Scooter. “You realize really just how tremendous a journey life is.”
