This seems like a bit more than the customary 20% tip but a waitress at a Mexican restaurant in Arkansas was recently surprised by longtime customers with a pretty large tip.
Maria Elena Barraganhad just finished servingDavid HarrisonandShelia Harrisonduring her double shift at Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant. That's when the couple asked Maria to have a chat.
The couple, who are regulars at the restaurant, asked to talk to Barragan after the meal. They pulled up some seats at the table and explained to Maria how much they appreciated and loved her and then they gave her a gift bag. Inside the gift bag was papers and keys to a 2019 Buick Encore in her name.
Maria was blown away and refused the gift at first but the couple said that God had led them to do this and that they wanted her to be happy.
The new car will reportedly replace her 2005 Chevy Trailblazer.
