Reporter Doesn't Turn Off Facebook Filters During Live Report

Don't forget to check your social media filters before live streaming.

A North Carolina TV reporter learned that lesson during a live broadcast and viewers were treated to a new perspective afterJustin Hiltonaccidentally turned on the Facebook Live filters. He says he thought he was delivering a serious report about “the first legitimate snowfall we’ve seen this season.”

Instead, viewers on Facebook were treated to a hilarious report that included various animated looks during the broadcast including googly eyes, a wizard hat, dog ears, barbells and more. He realized what had happened after reading some of the comments and reactions on Facebook.

Needless to say, his report went viral on social media, racking up nearly 160,000 views, 2,500 reactions and 200 comments since it was posted last Thursday.

His video and the similar SNL sketch are below.
