Calallen ISD Parents/Guardians and Staff:
Many of our families and staff members continue to be without electricity, water, and internet/cell service. We understand the difficulties many in our community continue to face in these unprecedented times. Calallen ISD is working to evaluate the status of district facilities. Currently, several campuses are without electricity and/or water, and the district remains on mandatory water boil. We want students to return to classrooms as soon as possible, but need to ensure that all campuses can be re-opened in a safe and healthy manner. In an effort to support all stakeholders, the decision has been made to cancel school for tomorrow, February 18, 2021 and Friday, February 19, 2021.
All information regarding reopening or continued closures will be shared via local news media outlets KIII, KRIS, KZTV, Univision, and K99; Calallen ISD website, social media and Blackboard email posts.
