Jelly Roll revealed his latest weight loss update — and his ultimate goal in his health journey — when he caught up with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night (April 24).

Kimmel told the reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Artist of the Year, “you look more fit every single time I see you,” as soon as his guest appeared in the studio. The talk show host and comedian kicked off the conversation by asking Jelly Roll about his ongoing weight loss transformation.

“Dude, listen. I’ve been thinking about ways to make it sound cool, but I can’t. I’m eating a lot of protein and vegetables and walking. That’s what I’m doing,” Jelly Roll said, and confirmed “we’re approaching the 200-pound mark. I would guess that I have lost an entire Jimmy Kimmel.”

“Or a 200-pound Mark!” Kimmel replied with a laugh. “You gotta find a guy named Mark, and he could be your 200 pounds. And when do you stop though? That’s the big question. Like, do you have a number in mind?”

Jelly Roll confirmed, “I do have a number in mind.

“So, for the non-fluffy people in the world — I would give y’all some education, of course, here — to do all the fun stuff in life, you gotta be under 250,” the Academy of Country Music 2025 Entertainer of the Year nominee said. “So my goal, I want to skydive, I want to ride a roller coaster, I want to ride a bull. I know it sounds crazy. I want to wrestle an alligator. I got a list of things that I want to do.”

Jelly Roll has previously shared updates on his health and fitness journey, including his weight loss transformation. He told his wife, Bunnie Xo, on an episode of her podcast, Dumb Blonde, that he wants to “be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026.” He also said after reaching his 100-pound weight loss milestone that he wants to be unrecognizable in a year.

Throughout his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jelly Roll also spoke about his pep talk to the Tennessee Titans, his upcoming tour with Post Malone, serving as the first-ever artist in residence on American Idol, buying his farm and more.
