The Buccaneer Commission is excited to celebrate its 86th Buc Days in 2024! From Bull Riding and Robotics on the first weekend to Rodeo, BBQ and Culinary Competition on the second weekend, we can truly say there is something for everyone. The Buccaneer Commission through its annual events raises funds to support education in the Coastal Bend. To date the Commission has awarded over $1.8 million in scholarships and grants. Division Youth Rodeo Showcase - On Tuesday, May 7th, The same Rodeo Corpus Christi we all know and love but for YOUTH! Come out and watch the future athletes of Rodeo, 19 years old and younger, compete in 11 disciplines – Bareback Riding, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping Heading, Team Roping Heeling, Tie-Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Ladies Pole Bending, Ladies Goat Tying, and Bull Riding. Follow the Youth Rodeo with a Concert from a William Beckmann!
Rodeo Corpus Christi presented by Miller Lite | May 7-11 - There’s no energy like rodeo energy. Step into the arena to see all your favorites, like saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, mutton bustin’ and more. And, of course, stick around after the dust settles for our concert series with national recording artists. Rodeo Corpus Christi begins at 7pm each evening.
