So I will say that I am not an aficionado of the music that Kendrick Lamar performs. That said, the halftime show of the big game is generally a difficult one to do, and at the same time, make everyone watching the biggest show on TV worldwide happy. I think he did a fine job and I am certain his fans loved it. That being said, if there was to be a country act perform at halftime, who would you select. I remember the show in the 90s when they had country in Atlanta. It was ok at best. I will say I saw Toby Keith and Willie Nelson do the pregame show in 2004 and that was fantastic.
So which current country star would you like to see do a halftime show? My parameters are as follows:
- It can't be George Strait.
- It has to be a current country star that is known as a superb entertainer
- Probably one who fills up stadiums over filling up arenas
I would think the following would be in contention:
- Morgan Wallen
- Luke Combs
- Jelly Roll
- Lainey Wilson
- Zack Bryan
What say YOU?
