A couple weeks back Morgan shared she met a guy out for Halloween. She was dressed up as Dolly Parton and he was covered in face paint and fake tattoos.
They hit it off and exchanged phone numbers intending to meet up again. Morgan said she wasn't sure what he actually looked like though so meeting up was going to be interesting. The Bobby Bones Show crew encouraged her to go out with him just to try something new in her dating experiences.
Morgan shared an update on the show today (November 8) with good news that they went out on a date. The date started as drinks and progressed into them grabbing food because it was going so well. At the end of the date they both expressed wanting to see each other again. In the following days they had a few text exchanges, but she said it seemed to fizzle out. Their last text exchange was him saying he would like to see her again, and she responded in agreeance with a "yes, let's make that happen!" However, he never followed up after that and it's been several days.
Bobby encouraged her to reach out one more time because she didn't have anything to lose and something could have happened in his life. Morgan felt that it was a sign he wasn't interested, and didn't want to force any type of energy in her life if someone doesn't want to be there. She said history tells her if a guy wants to go out with a girl, he will make it happen or at the very least be active in planning for it to happen especially after just one date. Despite that, Bobby said she should continue to get a little more uncomfortable and send one more text. Adding he will likely not be the guy for her, but it's worth another text exchange.
