Comedian Matt Rife Buys "Horror House" & A Demon Already Showed Up

Matt Rife summons a demon in a picture taken as the new "guardian" of the horror relics from the Ed and Lorraine Warren Occult Museum.

Alright, brace yourself: comedian Matt Rife and YouTuber Elton Castee just scooped up the infamous Connecticut home once owned by real-life ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren—the same duo who inspired The Conjuring movies. And yes, it comes with the whole creepy setup: the Occult Museum stocked with around 750 haunted artifacts, including the Annabelle doll. But here’s the twist—they don’t actually own the items. They’re the legal guardians and caretakers for at least the next five years.

Matt’s idea? He’s opening the place back up—for day visits, overnight stays, and full-on haunted tours. Pretty killer idea if you're into chills and thrills.

Officially, Matt and Elton sealed the deal in early August 2025 via a $1 million purchase through Haunted Homes LLC. The artifacts themselves are still owned by the Warrens' family—you know, the Spera family—but Rife and Castee will care for and manage them for the time being.

Most know how "haunted" this house and items in it are, but the demons seemed to already be showing themselves in their new found fame with Matt Rife. Watch this
